gotta agree with tx on the power adder... your thread subject line is too much fun. but power is no good if you don't get it to the ground, so yea, everyone is pointing you in the right direction with gears then converter/cooler imo

Nobody has any input on putting in gears or havin em put in?
Of course stay away from thoseshaddy shops

Lots people here have done gears; maybe search the drivetrain section for info.

I can't speak, but my buddy n I did mine but I was in the front doing my intake while he was doing the rear end (as bad as that sounds) the hardest part was not flooring it within the first 500 miles and only driving it one hour at a time and letting it cool. My truck is a DD and I've had my gears for about 30k now. Recently changes diff fluid and inspected, everything was good as new.
