what cam would yall recomend me for my truck its a 07 nnbs 4 door 5.3 mods are lt headers full 3 inch exhaust k&n 411 gears 4l60 with shiftkit + cervo and and currently running a 278mm circle d but as soon as i get my cam imma upgrade to a 3200-3400 billet..lmk what yall recomend..thanks pt.net

 

224r, its a nice mild cam for your 5.3 and it would work real nice with the stall you plan on getting

 

Since you already have 4.11 gears and have a 278mm installed and it will be replaced with a billet you could get away with low 220ish single pattern cam with your 4 door.

Now, If you didn't have that 4.11 gearing and kept the 278mm converter I would recommend something staying under a 220/220 imo for a single pattern cam.


You could always go custom grind cam also and see what EPS or Texas speed etc comes up with.


I think something around a 218/224 112-113lsa would be good for you IMO and it will still have considerable low end with the mods you have or will have (billet converter). If you didn't want it as noticeable of an idle maybe do a 114lsa.

 

220/220 on a 110lsa or ask EPS and do custom grind
