i hope not. by no means did i intend on creating a usa vs canada discussion. i'm sure there are great things about canada but the tax % for buying a new truck sucks. so i jokingly said i'd move out. hope it wasn't taken personally. back to the numbers of trucks!!!!

My tax was 10% iirc. I'm in the U.S.

still better than 13% the person from canada said. we are at 6.25% in texas.

I got a few doll hairs under 11k off Sticker on my truck. Plus i then added denali grill and bedliner.
Walked out under 32K

My 2010 reg cab short box wt was 22280 after 9000 in rebates.

sticker on mine was right at 37000 got them down to 28300 plus i got to keep my hood so i was happy

Got mine used. 2009 Sierra Denali AWD with all options for 39800 after taxes.

i'm looking at buying soon hopefully, sierra slt, 6.2 cc... here in alberta its only 5% tax. i think AB is the only province without the extra 8%??

the gm employee pricing event is going on till the end of august, $54810 sticker, $41582+tax.. I think this is pretty good, i'd still like fleet pricing tho lol
