Default What to do next

I have a 2008 rcsb Z71 4X4 5.3L. 3.73 gears. I've installed a k&n cai, LTs, and Texas speed has done my tune, NKG plugs and MSD wires. My truck is still lacking a bit and I was hoping for some ideas to get some more out of it. Not looking for Forced induction but I'm not sure what kind/how big of cannot heads. Or maybe like a fast 102 set up. Any ideas?

Fast intake is a waste of money in my opinion. Look into cam and converter combo.

6.2 in her and call it a day power out of a wheezy *** 5.3 like trying to squeeze blood from a turnip. When you are done you will still have more in 5.3 mods than just buying a 6.2. If you wind up going as far as most of us do mods are like pringles once you pop you can't stop. 6.2 stock will smoke any heavily modded 5.3 with room to spare and still be stone reliable.

Especially if you are looking at FI might want to pay heed to above as FI alone will cost more than putting some cubic inches in her.

I will have to disagree on that, we made 431rwhp on a 5.3L N/A using that intake I think its a damn good intake if you ask me. A good cam/heads/intake and supporting mods that baby 5.3L will be one nice monster

Oh man so no love for 5.3s? It is all on the setup if the OP would do a nice cam/head/intake with supporting mods is will WALK a 6.2L easy man, its been proven many times the LY5s and LC9s are monster with the right setup

Didn't say its not a bad intake but I'd rather buy a 6.0 with that money instead of a fast intake and opt out for the cheaper Vic jr intake.. That's just me tho..

ur paying too much $$$$ for the fast intake imo, thats true.. but it does have some nice gains if u wanna squeeze out every hp out of the little 5.3, they are awesome engines

heres a thread about the fast intake on a bone stock 5.3

https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...s-5-3l-464009/

i would do a cam and converter setup next.. is ur truck dyno tuned or mail order?
