On the 99-07c's you could go with an escalade or denali or ss cluster and add a factory trans temp gauge. I am not seeing any factory clusters with trans temp option on these new trucks. What gauges are the cleanest/best yet still blend in kinda to the stock look?

The ones that I've seen have the trans temp shown on the digital display. Not sure if EVERY truck has that feature, but every one that I've driven or ridden in has it.

^^Agreed. I believe it is standard on all trucks equipped with a towing package. If your truck doesn't have one you could always get a pillar pod and a nice autometer gauge. Just my .02

all you have to do is put the DIC vent panel/buttons. even if you have a W/T edition the truck still has that harness.

Yes. I bought an 08 WT last fall and changed out the 4 gauge pod to the factory 6 gauge pod and added the DIC panel on the left side of the dash. Everything plugged in and works perfect. All sensors and wires are there already. Trans temp shows up in the digital display part.

The part # for the DIC panel is 19159438. I got mine on Ebay for less than $80. Also before I added the dic I could still get the trans temp by pressing the button on the right side of guages.

on my 03 - I added a trans temp gauge
I put one on the pillar - Auto Meter Carbon Fiber
Electric gauge
I put the sender in the transmission - drivers side - about half way up - there is a fluid port.
