Default What to expect-Long Tubes

I just bought my Pacesetter Long Tubes today. They'll be in on Thursday and I'll try to get them on the truck this weekend. I know that I may be able to search this, but I'm lazy and most of all, everyone on this b*tch has super modded trucks it seems like and they're gains are naturally going to be better than mine! My mods are in my sig, and I just wanted to know what kind of gains the truck will make from installing the LT's and ORY. I've checked out a ton of Dyno videos, but all of those trucks have cams and heads and blowers and generally over 450hp. Just wondering...

Thanks for the reply. I just know that i went from stock unequal length headers to equal lengths in my STi and it made no difference, but after a tune, it made 19AWHP. Crazy how those little rice rockets have no clue that you change things until you tell the ECU that it's different. But anyway, 20 or so sounds pretty good. I know the noise level changes pretty drastically at WOT with the LT's and ORY. I love it!

Hp gain is nice. Mine with cats just about doubled the sound of the exhaust when I put my foot in it. But it is almost quiet at cruising and idle.

I gained power across the board. It did strengthen the 3000 RPM range a bit more than the rest though.

Thanks, that's awesome. I just wanted to know what to expect. I did see that the exhaust note is substantially louder at WOT. I love the sound though! And as soon as I get my underdrive and converter, I'll throw an electric cutout on it. Then we'll really have some noise!

I had allways wondered the same question you asked but I figured I would ask it when I bought myself some headers
