Gas prices go up, site traffic goes down. Not to mention the recession hasn't been easy on everyone

The "experts" are predicting $5/gallon gas prices again this summer. I can't help but find it interesting/funny that the same thing happened 4 years ago the summer prior to the election. By winter it was down to under $1.50 a gallon though, that was awesome

Yeah I've been waiting on $5 a gallon gas for 5+years. Kinda sucks how they allow it to get so high when you see the company profits go up tremendously each year!

I think we will get it this time though. Usually gas goes way down in the winter and we had the exact opposite this time.

ive been out working on the camaro. switched it to e85 last week. needless to say 12psi and 16 degree's of timing on a 130k mile motor is putting it's stresses on the tty bolts now. but got damn it's a ******* riot to drive.

i haven't driven the truck in a month.

When gas was almost $5 I bought my wife a used Tahoe, they practically gave it to us. They had it for weeks and wouldn't even take it into inventory, there were a dozen more out back

It seems to always have been kind of slow in this forum.

When I ordered my headers I was told that not many truck headers are sold, despite the vast number of trucks sold compared to cars. From this I assume that there are not many performance modded trucks out there (big wheelers/lowriders are aplenty though) period. From going through all the various LSx related message boards most of the modified trucks and certainly the fastest and most heavily modified trucks are the previous body style also, which I would assume is because they are very cheap these days.

Add all these factors up and I think it explains why this board is kind of slow. I thought about this a lot the past month when I was attempting to research the heads/cam package I have going in next week.........I found virtually no information about guys in GMT900s with 6.2s running head/cam combos.
