What mods can i do without voiding warranty?
Want some more power out my truck. It's a 2011 gmc sierra ext cab 5.3. I know I can put on intake and exhaust? What else can I put on, pulley maybe?

Most things that show gains void warranty. The biggest gains require tuning and will void GM powertrain warranty which prohibits alterations to the computer programming. That being said, intakes and exhausts shouldn't have an effect on your warranty. Usually a dealer who voids warranty based on intakes and muff swaps can be pressured into backing down, as it's a bit extreme to say either change can negatively impact the vehicle's reliability. I have an intake tube, high-flow dry filter, and a glasspack in place of my factory muff, and haven't even gotten a word when I've taken my truck to the dealer for service. However, if they were to hook a Tech2 to my truck for any reason they would see that the factory calibration has been removed from the ECM and TCM. This would for sure void warranty.

I forgot to mention that I also have my factory engine and trans programming loaded on an AutoCal and ready to load back to the truck in the event that something were to catastrophically fail and be in immediate need of dealer attention. The gas trucks (at least up through MY2011) do not record flash history, so there is no way for the dealer to see whether or not a truck has been tuned and returned to stock as long as all of the parameters are reset to their original settings.
