Cai,borla custom catback,mail order tune, and 4.10's? Just wondering if will run in the 14's before the headers and o/r y-pipe. What ya'll think?

 

Bodystyle? Engine? Who's mail order tune?

 

My 01 gmc ecsb with the 5.3 with a blackbear tune, headers, ory pipe, stock tranny, 1 wheel peel, no stall I went 14.6 on 26" slicks I shoulda went with 28" instead and I'm sure I woulda seen 14.4x or lower

 

Sorry. Truck info in sig now. Guess I should've asked this... What should it run with the 4.10's now and hypertech and how much will it improve with a mail order tune? Probably leaning towards Wheatley. Hoping to run in the 14's before the mail order tune.

 

unless you got the hpp3 for less than $100 i'd forget about it and do the wheatley tune. I'd expext you'd be close to 14's with a tune.

 

Thanks for the input. It's just the maxenergy hypertech but I got it for free. For now it at least does what I have it for to correct the speedo for the gear swap and the tire/wheel swap. Ah yeah, and take off the 98 mph shutdown.

 

i have a nnbs Rcsb 5.3-3.42 with cai-Wheatley tune,Longtubes , running on a 31inch tire .... check sig ... the heads on the nnbs are so much better then the heads that came on the nbs trucks really makes a diffrence ... remember i have a 3.42 btw

about 14.6 -14.8 . .. with your goodies* . ..are you equiped with 243/799 heads?
