dont forget your ls7 lifters if you have AFM aka DOD. From what I've noticed on this section. Its just a 50/50 chance of having a lifter failure but might as well change them to prevent future problems.

you can run it w/out the ls7 lifters . .i've been running it for like 5 months now . with just DOD disable . . . but its highly reccomended that you do the complete swap . . im also going with a 220R cam with ls7 lifters . . and see how it turns out . ..
