If not towing 4000 to 4400 is streetable imo.

3.23's pt4400, driven everyday. 1.57 60' trapping 116 in a cam and bolt on f-body. Sure the truck is heavier, to me that would be even more motivation to go steeper with the converter. I wouldn't go less than a ss3600 on a stock truck much less a cammed one...

i like the handicap stalls... plenty of room and comes with a hand rail for power squeesing.....

I've got a Circle D 3k stall in my 08 5.3 with 3.42's. I drive it everyday. And I have more hills here than flat ground. I have no problem towing or for that matter even realizing the higher stall is in there. My father-in-law hasn't even noticed it, and he hates high stall converters. It really makes the truck more fun to drive. Although I do have 4.11's to put in for more fun. Go 3K.

Well if you are limiting to a 3000, then please for the love of god don't use a tt3000, buy a good performance minded converter that will actually make a difference.
