Thanks for the input, but yeah he's walked me from roll and dig. And it's my top priority to beat him. Lol but I know he's tuned and that's it. So he's alrdy a step ahead, what tuner are the gm guys going with? I've heard great things about diablew tuned. But got a friend telling me to go BB. But he's a diesel guy.

A BB tune with autocal would be a great option if your mods will stay reasonable, but plan on making progressive changes over time. That way he can retune for your future mods.

I'd +1 the Black Bear tune, I've had several retunes due to new mods and it was one of the best first mods!

My truck with a tune, CAI, and exhaust plus no rear seats or tailgate managed a 15.4 on a day when a bone stock off the street ecoboost truck with the same ccsb 4x4 configuration ran a 14.6. A stall would probably help because our trucks are 2.4-2.5 seconds in the 60 ft but basic tune only won't get you there in my experience.

You better hope he doesnt get a tune too... they will run easy 13's with one. You'll need a cam at the vest least to beat him. Especially with larger tires.

Another solution to beat a truck with a turbo might be ... get a turbo on YOUR truck!
