What year/s did the 5.3L come with a 90mm TB stock?

Default What year/s did the 5.3L come with a 90mm TB stock?
People are telling me that my truck has a 87mm and not a 90mm. SDPC said it's a 90mm. What gives?

only the cars got the 90MM. The trucks got an 87mm

Ah ****........well **** me........lol. Need to get a 90mm on there. My buddy got a 90mm car TB to fit his truck. Wonder if it will just bolt up like mine?

Yes I did just this in "the brown truck" thread. 11silv is getting rid of his, prolly pick it up at a great price.

2008 IIRC. they were 87mm. Cars got the 90's like said

I see, so the 90mm is a direct bolt-on for my truck huh? No adapter harness needed? Pretty cheap there.

Yea they started the 87mm on the 07nnbs and like stated a ls3 tb will bolt right up. I also have a 90mm on my truck and its better response

its 3mm, the throttle body is not a bottle neck.
