x2 agreed

Looks good sans the tip. But jesus 4" pipe I mean damm the 3.5 is more than sufficient if not overkill from a factory perspective.

I think it's a little overkill for your average guy wanting to upgrade his exhaust but for us that went FI or a very hefty NA build this is a nice setup that is pretty plug and play.

I would like to hear what it sounds like but I might be interested in this once I get my LT's and ORY since this would make an easy project in the garage and not require a trip to an exhaust shop.

I have 4" catback on my 6.2l, can see the link so I'm not sure how long the muffler is but I can tell ya of its 20" or around that it will be loud cause mine is. I'm planning heads and cam in the spring and I new I wouldn't be able to leave the 6.2l stock so I went big. Wanted a turbo setup but I don't want to join the ranks of 6.2l owners with FI rebuilding bottom end shortly after $3-6k on a FI setup.

well not complete bottom end but it looks like your going forged pistons on your rebuild. Just got me scared after yours and a few others so I decided to stay away rather than go boosted cause i simply dont have the tuning experience to dial it in perfect to prevent disaster. And although i could go with a maggy 2300 and keep it basic, I know much like everyone else eventually im going to want to go faster. Plan to stay N/A on this truck and get a play toy to get stupid with boost. Not knocking anyone for boosting the 6.2L at all, i just got nervous after seeing peoples issues and figured it would more likely than not happen to me if I went that route. For the record I planned essentially the exact build you had with yours (D1SC) before your issues.

I finally got the link to work, its just like my setup with black tip and everything (I have dual black 3.5" tips) and mine has a 20" magnaflow 4 inch and its loud. Doesn't have the rap of straight pipes but its loud. If that muffler is as short as it looks in the pictures its going to be really loud. Price isn't bad compared to my 4" mandrel setup from a shop. Tip looks kind of stupid IMO.

No kidding, that is the common problem around here.

My name is Phil and I'm a more-power-aholic.
