And I seriously don't see them designing a V6 exclusively for the 1500. It makes no sense to me when the 3.6 has become the V6 of choice in much of the GM lineup. All the R&D and production has already been sorted out.

I think that colorado is actually already being sold and on the market in Thailand and other southeastern countries.
There's a speed shop out here that has had a DI V8 head that was given to them by GM for additional R&D purposes. They've had it for about 6 months now. Not sure if that means much for them using the DI V8's in the truck series or just for the corvette's at first but DI is a most likely go.

I was hoping the pitch of "unparalleled performance and fuel efficiency" was going to be a bit more.... unparalleled. A 20-30hp bump? For a completely new engine design? Is bupkiss these days.... Should have added 150 ponies and sceeeeeared the dick right out of the other camps. A stock truck that womps a modded 6.2L for instance would be nice
