we have done several cam swaps in 07-08 chevys and all u need for it to work is an ls7 sprocket i have the part number for the dealer some were ill post it later in the day they are 30 some dollars and are always in stock most of the time or just get it from tsp they also have it in stock all the time
The LS7 is a 3 bolt cam sprocket? Ive been told the it was a 1 bolt? Ive read that people were using the ls2 cam sprocket when doing a cam swap. Anyone know the difference between the ls2 and ls7 sprocket.
thanks

Just go to your local dealer and give them the part # 12586481 they should be able to get it for you for around 21.00 dollars that's how much I paid with a discount I think list was around 30 dollars. Usually they will give a discount if you ask them. Even if you pay 30 or 40 dollars its faster and you don't have to pay shipping.

Texas Speed's number is 1-806-866-0734. I always talk to Jason when I call but anyone there can help you out. They have always been the most helpful people when I began modifying my truck.
