I don't get to drive my truck too often anymore, but it gets a daily beating when it's out in the open. 
I have a list of plans for the truck in the future including dropping the truck off at circle d, but I am not 100% sure I am going to keep it long enough to put more money in it. The whippled Raptor option is speaking to me some. To really make the Denali what I want would include new brakes, gears, trans build and convertor, WCCH's, and a custom cam. All of that is a fair sum and with my preference to buy once cry once it would equal about 1/2 the current value of the truck. So maybe just a whippled Raptor and go back to a car as a daily.
I have noticed a few times that the trans will slip a little during shifts on a hot day, but I just watch my temps and take it easy when needed.

Smooth. Sometimes the rear tires will slip a bit and you can feel a slight surge but that is all. Just stab and steer as the AWD really sucks the power out of the motor.
