Default Will headers help me

I am looking very seriously at buying some lt and y pipe but not sure they are doing me any good. I have a 08 5.3 with bb tune, servo, cai, slp exhaust. Im not a street racer but do drive the truck. I dont go to the track or anything crazy but do like to mod. Is it worth the 500 or so to buy a set and have it retuned minus the cats. Im looking at ceremic pc lts and y

I don't think for $500 the Y pipe comes with them - maybe it does, but the pic from Texas-Speed didn't show one or mention one in the ad.

Headers are awesome. I've put them on all my cars. More power. Better MPG. MUCH better sound.

I'm looking for headers right now too. I was going to do the LPP's but since that doesn't seem to be happening, think i'm just gonna save up for ARH.

Will they help you...most definetly. Have you considered adding a higher stall converter?? It won't add anymore power, but will get you to the power quicker and help keep you there between shifts.
