Default Will Skyjaker 3.5 inch lift clear 33's?

Wondering if the skyjacker 3.5 suspension lift will clear 33's on 18x9's?

Should. I have heard you can clear 33's with just a leveling kit..

umm yeah...when i had my MTZs 33x12.5 they cleared with 1.5 level. Why you putting heavy tires? I thought you were all about going fast.

Need new tires soon, and just seeing what my options are. lol. But i think my next mod is gonna be a shift kit, servos, a 3200 stall, and a custom cam. Hopefully in by this summer. And hoping that it will get me from a 14.3 to a 13.9

I used to run 33" tall tires (285/75-16) on my 99 at stock height with no clearance issues, the GMT900's seem to sit even higher from what I can tell, so with a 3.5" lift you should have plenty of room to spare.

i have a level kit on my truck and i run 33's. i ahd to trim the front bumper a lil(which actually no one can tell i did) and it rubs a little if i hit a decent sized bump while the wheel is cut hard.

Yeah it should....but when i went from a 65 lbs wheel/tire combo to a 94 lbs wheel/tire combo...my truck felt so sluggish. So much, that I sold them lol.

yeah i am thinking about going from 18's to 16's, but it is hard to find a nice clean looking deep dish wheel that comes in a 16. I am thinking smaller wheels with the same size tires, maybe a little wider. What are you running now, and how did it help you performance wise?

Im running the stock 17s 265/70/17....they're big enough for me and like i said they only weigh 65 lbs a peice. Thinking about getting some 17" centerlines soon to drop a few pounds of rotational mass. Im all about lighter wheels....better acceleration, better braking, better gas mileage. When i had my MTZs i went from getting 16 mpg to 13 mpg. But i also dont have 4wd so it was pointless to have M/Ts.
