Will It work??
I bought a 08 LS cause I was only planning to keep the truck 2-3 years. The more I drive it, the more I like it. Only now I wish I would have spent the extra money and got the LT. I knew I wouldnt like the 4.8, but I didnt expect the white one to catch on fire. I didnt really notice the 4 gauge cluster, but was only planning on keeping it 2-3 years. I dont like the open center jump seat, cause I have to clean it before I can use the middle seat.
So, Ill probably be buying a LT center jump seat before too long. Once the warranty is a little closer to being up (still have over 97,000 miles left) Ill probably put a 6.0, 6.2, or 402 in it with a FLT, small cam, and decent converter. But for now, will a LT gauge cluster swap in easily? I don't think I'll mind paying for it to get programed for the mileage, and probably dont have a problem with the dealership doing it. I just like having my oil pressure, and voltage accessable.

so there is no reprogramming you just plug it in and it's ready to go? My truck already has it but a buddy of mine was asking me if he bought it if he had to take it in for programming?
