Default winter tune track times

so tonight after work, packed up the family and headed to drag strip for some shenanigans. amusement followed.

a little insight into my winter tune. the trans is softened up a lot via torque management. pulls timing on the shifts, shifts a lot softer, pulled timing on the motor side. running 22 degree's up top. coming out of the hole on 26. a lot less than i usually do. still on e85 though.

go in the gates, straight to tech with the truck still running. drop the fam off at the stands, jump in the staging lines. sit for about 10 mins with the truck running. first pass of the night.

13.308@103.03
2.033 60ft.

so, heat soaked all to hell, detuned even worse. still amused with the soft tune in the truck

What might have the outcome been had you left in the more aggressive set up?

Was that your only pass? Do you have your cam advanced up top for the timing to only be 22* or do you just have it detuned that much currently?

13.0 @ 105 or so.

i had a couple more. i let it cool down for 20 mins and went a tad slower. 13.309 @ 104, and 13.33 @ 103. left softer. track was hooking, i was just getting too tired to devote all the attention i needed on the launch. could have ripped off a 1.9 short time the way the track was hooking.

as far as tune wise, i have the cam retarded .5 over stock up to 1.5 degree's from 5300-7k. just to try and help the dropping ve of the motor. timing follows the same path to a degree. just dropped across the board
