Ok, tried the GTO wires, they're not short enough to tuck close beside the block and they hit the back of the tube. The OEM truck wires are not long enough to go all the way around the tube and not hit. What I need is a wire about 3" longer for those two giving me problems with a 90 deg coil boot. That should let me clear those tubes and be on my way. Other than that, I guess I can get 3 more of the 409 Taylors and wrap those 2 giving me issues with some kind of high temp heat resistant material.

They are OBX LT's and as you can see in the pic, they put the #2 primary in the absolute worst spot for plug wire clearance!! Help!!

Some guys have made a metal retainer out of thin sheetmetal to hold that plug wire back away from the header primary. It makes the plug wire last a couple of years or so before the heat kills it. There are pics posted of it here on the forum somewhere. do a search for "obx" in the GM engine & exhaust performance section. It may take you a little while, but it's there.
