Question YANK Converter for the 6L80E

Anybody on here changed their converter on the A6 as yet? I just ordered a Pro Truck 3200 yesterday and I wanted to know if anyone has encountered any problems/tuning issues etc. with the install.
Also, what kinds of gains have you seen?
Can't wait to get that bad boy installled! I'm also waiting on a set of 1 7/8" ARH LT's w/ORY and my Vararam arrived yesterday. I'm also installing a QTP electric cutout when I put the headers on.
I'm hoping that these with more Wheatley tuning and some lighter wheels will put me well into the high 7's in the 1/8 on the spray. I'm running 8.3s @83MPH now with a Volant CAI and a 125 hp shot.
After that, it's cam time and then maybe some 4.10's.
I'll keep you all posted...

I imagine you'll like it. I'm sure you'll have to work to find traction off the line.

I've got a PI2800, 1st gear is over pretty quickly. Its not to much softer than the stock unit at part throttle. It does make it idle easier with my cam. Your 60' times should drop a fair bit. Low 8's is moving along pretty nicely.

I tried a Yank 3200 on my SS turbo and went back down to a 2800. The 3200 was just to spongy for my tastes. But once the converter locks it really isn't a factor. Be sure to post your before and after slips, hope it helps you crack into the 7's

Dave from Yank recommended the PT3200. I told him what mods I was going to do so, I guess he sized it for the cam. He seems to be a great guy to deal with.
I remember the first time I put a Vig. in my old Z28 and for the first couple of days it felt like **** but after a while I got used to that "loose" feeling. I'm sure I'm gonna like it, especially if she can light up all 4 tires, because my truck is AWD, and she can't spin on a wet road (unless I hit the nitrous off the line!). I think the 3200 stall will work real goodl. Right now my best 60' time is 1.97 sec. I'd like to take a couple of tenths off that.
