Default YaY another cam thread!

stipulations.

stock stall
stock heads
stock intake manifold.
less than .600 lift

thinking about the tsp 228 on a 112 to bring in the power in earlier to get past the stock stall speed.

im not apposed to running a vvt cam, just haven't found specs that tickled me yet.

thoughts?

I agree, even with the 6.2. I don't typically see single pattern cams with the rectangular port heads either.

I like the cheater series cams.

Daily driver, correct?

If that's the case, then why sacrifice SO much driveability and low-speed torque for that last what - 10 or 15 RWHP?

I vote VVT, but unfortunately don't have an exact camshaft to recommend.

214/228 EPS vvt cam. It is the 2nd cam choice under the vvt cams.

228R is a great cam, but even with a 6.2L you will still want a 3200-3600 converter.

And yes normally you see split pattern cams with your engine and heads.

I'll be selling my COMP version of this cam here in a week or two. I'm going a step down to get a little quieter idle...less RPMs, less lope.

The new cam will increase my DCR which will also be nice.
OLD cam: (214/228 .559/.571) 114 LSA
NEW cam: (210/224 .556/.568) 114 LSA

EPS makes a 222/230 .597/.600 112 or 114 that would be perfect for you.
