6.2 RCSB with carbon fiber bed and Z-28 brakes?

Chevy also removed the truck’s trailer hitch, spare tire, center console and other material to save weight.
all of those things above mean $$$$$, you wouldnt think taking stuff off of a production vehicle would mean more expensive, but thats the way it works.. GM would be way better off and sell tons more if they would just let the 6.2 be available to order in rcsb trucks, not an overpriced special edition truck!
they probably wont do it anyway, or if they do it will be nothing like the prototype, like GM is known for..

Just a nice work truck with any of the options you need to make it work for towing or hauling, and still with a 6.2 and 3.73s so it would haul *** too.
I can't believe they delete the trailer hitch on this, and a "lightweight aluminum driveshaft" sounds scary. Not to mention a carbon fiber bed and tailgate, for hell's sake.
This will me a great super car if they make it, but as specced in these stories it ain't a truck.

If this ever makes it to production it is was never intended to be a utility truck but rather a toy for someone that has lots of disposable income and likely owns one or more top tier sports cars or customs. With all the carbon fiber and top shelf parts on this truck it would likely be closer to $60k if not more. Pure looker and road race toy, something different and produced in very low numbers like the Z28 of 1500 units per year or less. Too expensive for me, just think it's bad *** !

I can see maybe a SS version but that many carbon fiber parts like the bed and tailgate will jump the price up too much... My opinion GM is just bringing something cool to the table here but it will never make production like that.
At the very minimum I'd like a nice appearance package with the 6.2 similar to the old SS. I'd like it, but even for that I don't have my hopes up...

I will take one in either red or a metallic blue. I hope GM can see the market for a truck like this even if they end up dropping the novelty additions like the carbon fiber that the concept possesses. I mean with the Ram R/T, possible upcoming RumbleBee revival, and the new F-150 Tremor their is apparently a market for it and why not go ahead and set the bar higher? I would trade my R/T in for one for sure.
