I'd be asking for a new car, because it sounds like they rushed this one out the door.

They can fix it and sell it to another customer later on...

Wow.
My DD is direct injection and it is louder, but oil four qts low is another story.

direct injection engines are loud in general... DI outboards are noisy as hell, the pumps are loud.

I wonder of these new engines get the same LS7 lifters that are the standard replacement lifter now.

1. how did you arive at 4 quarts low? most dipsticks dont show anything past 1-2 quarts low

2. why keep running it if you know its low?

Same lifters in these new motors (besides the AFM lifters obviously).
