My 4.8 lost low end, but from 4-6k its night and day (but its a good size cam for my small motor) and i am using the 7.4 push rods with no issues.

keep in mind the 01-02 LS6 power difference was more than just a cam change. The maf sensor, air intake and CAT converters were all changed at the same time.

I don't like the powerband in my TBSS with the LS2, wish it had some more grunt down low seems to really come alive above 3000rpm. Not sure how the '02+ cam is but, I can't think it would be much different.

Have the larger MAF, headers, no cats, and a short smooth intake, also have a rig specific tune done for it and will follow up with a dyno session. The LS2 has the additional cubes and compression to work with this cam. I can see how (with the lower compression and smaller displacement) the 4.8 and 5.3 might loose some low end.
