.040 or .054 Headgasket thickness?
My original order for my SCE ICS Titan headgaskets didnt go through for some reason which is kinda of good because I ordered .040s and ahve wondered if I should have went .054. Main thing I am trying to decide is what is going to benefit me more power wise, having better quench or less CR for more boost. Thoughts? Im going to re-order again tomorrow and just looking for opinions.

Wish they made a .050 gasket that would put me right in the target area for quench but those are my only choices short of waiting even longer for them to custom make me some and I ready to get my damn motor running, this is the only hting holding my up

Ive been told tighter quench works better with higher compression ratios. Something about the way the flame front propogates its less likely to detonate than with a large quench area. If it where my setup Id do so research if it just means the difference between running 24 or 28 degrees of timing effectively I think its worth it.
Not sure on your setup are you still NA?

N/A for now but Im not pulling the heads when I put the turbo on. How am I going to a gasket that is for a 4" bore when I have a 4.030 if I went factory. Im going with the SCE ICS Titans because they are the best out there, too many people blow out the stockers when they turn the boost up, Im not going with Cometics because I thought they were reusable but they arent so if I going to be stuck with a non-reusable gasket it might as well be the best you can get which is the ICS series. It has the stainless ring for the combustion chambers so its the best thing next to o-ringing your block. The factory MLS gaskets re good but I have done alot of research over on tech and it seems the stockers dont like 15+psi even with over tq'ed ARP studs and Im also planning on spraying some too so I want all the insurance I can get.

I went with Fel pro .041 with my 6.0. There a nice grade gasket, the quench area works best around .o40 from my research. My engine guy said and my pistons were .007 out of hole and I was worried, but my engine guy and jones said (No Problem) Jones said he runs even closer on some engines. I have run mine real hard with no KR at all and never any pinging so far with 24* timing and climbing and more compression. It runs strong! I,m glad so far!

There are alot of bad stories over on tech about the FelPros, 38-44 is ideal neither of my options get me very close to that, I was told .03 is the lowest I want due to rod stretch and everything expanding when hot. I think Im just going to order the .054s.
