I never said that cam wouldnt be good, Ive never seen any results from it so i wouldnt have a clue.. I was just tellin him that a TR220 or TSP like he mentioned would be good for what he is wanting..

Yeah, that's why I was wondering. I have been looking at these cheap regrind cams, also found a 220/220 581/581 112 for a $125. What is the downfall of a regrind will someone please explain. I'm not building a track motor by any means, but would this cheap cam be a good investment for me?

Yea, i saw that cam too and i messaged the guy and he said it is VERY similar to the Texas Speed grind.

Downfalls : you need longer pushrods and some say that regrinding cuts through the hardened surface of the cam. There's still a lot of people that run them though.
