yep Parish was one of the first i believe in a truck on 93 octane 26lbs of boost. Correct me if im wrong

Its crazy to think that a 1000 HP is not even that hard anymore. The torque will be another story. What kinda torque did parish make?

To the OP are you stuck with gas or is diesel a option?
Due you already have the truck already I guess is a better question?

I would definitely lean towards a boosted 427 at least.

shoot.. a shop about an hour from home was working on a new camaro with a Dart billet 440 block they were gonna run about 22lb of boost from a TVS2300 along with a full build - they were shooting for about 1800 to the wheels. it's been since april since i've heard about the progress, so i don't know what they ended up with...

edit: from the pics i just saw, they must be doing something else judging from the custom intake manifold they had made

They would have needed 2 TVS2300s.

Yea Im putting a 228r in my 5.3 with some long tubes. Shooting for about 750rwhp.

I've heard it said that one down side to turbo's is that they tend to be high maintenance. What maintenance do they require?
