Default 1218 or 1518 springs?

I am looking at going with a tu1 cam for my boosted setup, and saw the combo speed inc has on their website... it comes with 1218 springs and 7.4 push rods for like $199.

I'd honestly like to just order that combo and the cam from speed inc and get everything from one place. I'm just posting making sure that those valve springs won't be problem in my setup.

I only plan on ending up around ~16 pounds of boost, not shifting over 6000.

Thanks for the help!

I would feel a lot better running some type of Dual springs, especially getting near or at 16#.

Would the Pac springs 1218/1518 work OK, yeah probably but if it was my truck I would personally want duals for the added security. I am sure someone around here has used the 1218/1518 with a bit of boost.

Look at some Lunati Duals as they are actually pretty cheap/affordable or maybe some manley duals which are more expensive. Pac actually makes some Duals too, but they are not cheap.
