i'll take a look at it. so i'm guessing 7psi would be a safe limit? he will be useing meth by the way.

I myself would start off around 5-6 psi and get it fueling then go up from there. Thats a pretty nice marine intake setup. I would love to see some numbers out of the little 4.3L.

well the turbo kit is used so i need to test and see when the wastegate opens. he said he wants to get it on the dyno when done.

ok, where to get rods and pistons. which is the weak point,the rods or the pistons?

both you can get them anywhere you can get the old 5.7 rods and pistons. if your replacing one or the other you might as well do both.

i thought that too. the rods are offset and the crank is a split jurnal crank so it won't work. pistons will though for the most part.
