Kinda ahrd to have belt squeek when there isnt a crank pulley on the engine

I agree I heard the squeaking as well ...... I'm going to put on the belt system today and run it longer. I guarantee it will go away with just running it. The lifters weren't pumping up to the rocker yet thus the clicking. It only ran 38 seconds. We'll see, I'll get another video up after I get coolant in it and such so it can warm up.

Ya I removed that oil baffle and I ground down some aluminum parts inside the valve covers. Seems like they don't fit right, so I just set them ontop of the heads to keep oil from getting all over everything.

--- The GM Performance Parts Valve Covers are still on order they will be here next week I hope! That will make it look so much better!

Nice job on the build...I have a similar setup i want to do on my 02 yukon...I want to swap out my 5.3 for a 6.0 off a wrecked 02 escalade.
but i want to use L92 heads, and want to know if i can use the stock L92 intake? MAF? Throttle Body?
Also...I think the heads im looking at have that VVT, how does that work and will i still be able to use the heads with the VVT and how?

The L92 heads will bolt right onto the 02 Escalade engine. You can use the stock L92 intake but since you said your putting it in a 02 Yukon that has drive by cable so you will have to get an adapter plate to use your stock throttle body on the L92 intake or buy a new 90mm cable throttle body with 4 bolt pattern to bolt onto the l92 intake. You would just use your stock MAF sensor. The heads do not have VVT. That is part of the cam and such in the newer motor the heads came off of. Hope my ramble makes a bit of sense.....
