I got the part number from the GMPP Catalog and gave it to the parts guys at the local Chevy dealership and they ordered them up for me! Worked great!

The roads in Anchorage are crap right now. I was there today and almost got hit twice by idiot drivers at icy intersections. I think his truck will be garaged til May or so, when the roads start getting better. I bet he's chomping at the bit though.

I kinda figured that...I know that I'd be chomping at the bit for sure!

Hahaha! I wish, its so slippery right now my driveway is pure ice without studded tires and 4x4 you can't go anywhere, it sucks.

I hear you there Roger those roads are crazy! I was driving around and having issues getting traction in the SS even with my studded tires that are less than a year old. I did move the truck from the warm garage to outside into the car port and its stored away under a nice car cover. I did manage to finally for the first time ever get the brakes properly working equally and all four working! The problem turned out to be a small plastic piece inside the CPP Proportioning valve was manufactured wrong or out of spec causing it to always block the rear brakes even when the valve was centered! I simply made it a bit smaller and they work perfect! Couldn't believe that. The truck sounds awesome though once it gets warmed up and everything the cam really sounds nice. It does stall if you brake stall it up to 2K and let off so I'll have to see if I can tweak that this summer or maybe have someone or you do a tune up here for it.

On another note I was in Wasilla last night and drove a 1970 2wd C10 back to Anchorage for my dad. It was an interesting drive for sure, no speedo, and some serious alignment issues going on made it really fun on the highway lol! Then the icy roads in Anchorage where another story although it made it.

End of April or beginning of May. The track usually opens back up in the middle of May.
