im was thinking of going with the 212/218 cam from tsp on my 06 z71 5.3. i was just wondering though will 7.4 hardened pushrods work? i was told i had to measure them to see if i needed smaller or bigger ones. i was going to run this cam setup with stock stall, Lt's and maybe a ported throttle body. i have airaid CAI now and a rebuilt performance l460E with 25000 miles on it and 4.88 gears.

i also can get a great local deal on the 7.4 pushrods and ls6 springs. will those both work together on that high lift cam?

 

The 7.4 pushrods will work just fine, thats what I run on my 02 5.3 with the 212/218 cam.

The ls6 springs will work just fine if you have the low lift 212/218 cam, they also make it in a high lift and that would be pushing the limits of the ls6 springs.

 

With a 114 LSA it will lope slightly but sound good
