What do yall think? I got a 6l sitting on the stand awaiting a 4l80 to go behind it, so this is kinda a temporary thing. May be there a couple of months, or maybe a couple of years.
I have a trailblazer converter in there now, I know the TB stall was enough for a 223/226 in my old truck with the 6l. Will it be enough for the 220/220 in the 4.8?
I was planning either a Yank TT3000, or Circle-D 3000-3200 to go behind it, but may get the cam first.

How do yall think this set up will fare?

Right now im open diff with 3.42's, but would like to get the truck ready for the 6l while I beat on the 4.8 a little.

bump the lsa down to 110 and add 4* of advance... That should run pretty good.

so 220/220 .581/.581 110+4

I thought about that. I was planning on advancing the cam +4, not real sure why I didnt add that.

Not real sure if I want to go down to 110, but Ive been tossing that idea around also

i saw a dyno of a 4.8 with a 220 cam in the dyno section
look at the sheet see where it starts commin on at then see what stall you can go with

I think that you'd be better of with about a 3200+ converter, but it'll still move with the tb converter if that's what you've already got

honestly my old 220/220 .563/.563 114+4 on the stock converter was not bad at all.. I used to cut 2.00 60fts with the stock converter and that is when i was first learning how to tune....

I am in the process of installing my 4.8 in an 84 cutlass. It is running a tsp 220/220 581/581 110lsa. I was recommended this cam from tsp when I emailed them.
