Default 233/239 cam in 5.3

Wits up guys so I just recently just bought a cam for my 5.3 nd got a 233/239 at112 Lsa was trying to see y'all's opinion on these truck is a 00 ext cab wit fb nd built tranny nd 3200 stall tuned by Wheatley also out back it has 373s
Gonna swap intake to the tbss intake later nd also my heads to the 243s milled .30 would y'all say this is too much of cam for a 5.3 or no?

I'm known for favoring the smaller stealthy cams so maybe I'm wrong (I'm not) that's a huge cam for a 5.3!

I have a 218-226 .595 .598 112 and that is as big as I want for a dd. I have a 6 speed though.

Many Stroker engines don't even run cams that big.

Lot of ls1 tech guys are running tht on their ls1s also have a friend running tht on a 4.8

I thought strokers run like 24x/24x cams n/a correct me if I'm wrong. Excluding when u do n20 or boost then you gotta run a small cam I believe

To much cam bro... U need a TSP220 or smaller cam with ur 3200. There are about 5 other threads about this in the past 30 days in the proper section. Also listen to TXSZ66.
Gm engine and exhaust section??

The LS1tech guys are running it on a bigger motor with a lighter load. I bet your friend's 4.8 is a turd below 4000RPM if it's in a truck.
