i know this topic is being beaten to death but I have a few questions for you guys that have already milled/installed the 243's. How much do you have to mill them to get 10.0-10.3 cr with stock gaskets? and would it be better to mill them less and run a thinner gasket like the cometic .041 instead of milling them more with a stock thickness gasket? Sorry if these are dumb questions I just can't seem to find it elsewhere. thanks again

mine are milled .040 i am not sure what the cr is cause i did not measure anything. as far as gaskets if you are paying to get them cut then why have to pay 100 bucks for gaskets also. it is cheaper just to cut them the extra amount. stock gaskets are cheap.

the heads you got from me were milled .055, and the guy i got them from had them on a camaro running the FM-13 cam. I'm not sure of the specs but it was around 228/230 and .595lift (i think)
