I don't think you will, but it would be a nice upgrade for future mods.

I need to check with my tuner and see if my injectors are close to being maxxed out yet. If so then I'll get some 8.1s if i do the swap.

I have a set of 243s in my basement collecting dust. Now tell me if im right: stock gasket size is .053" and the stock LM7 CC is 61cc. The LS2 heads are 65cc and the ratio of milling .006 equals 1cc on 243s. How far would I need to mill to get a 10.5-1 or 11-1 comp ratio? Could also use a flatter gasket like .041" to help with the smaller combustion chamber.

i don't remember how far you can mill them before you have clearence issues. mine are milled .040 with stock gaskets and if i had to guess my cr should be between 10-10.5. so with a thinner gasket it should be easy to get where you want to be. it would take someone smarter and more precise than me to give you specs.

My buddy has some on his LS1 and they are milled .055 with stock gaskets and he doesn't have any clearance issues.
