Default 350 to 383 Stroker question

OK, was originally going to just rebuild my 97 vortec 350, but both heads where cracked so I got new heads, now it looks like I am going to order new pistons also. So my question is to turn it into a 383 stroker, all I have to do is change the crank correct? If so, can someone give me some specs for one? I dont want to spend a crap ton of money on one. I am already into this motor more than I wanted to be, but figured if thats all I have to do and can find one reasonable to me I would go that route.

Thanks
Mike

you have to have the block bored .030 over. also have the block massaged so the rods clear the block. speed-o-motive has nice stroker kits also try searching enginekits.com.

We have Compstar kits starting around or slightly less then $2,000.00
That's the Crankshaft, Bearings (you will need a race bearing) Rods, pistons, rings and locks. Fully balanced ready to rock.

383 = 4.030 bore 3.750 stroke
