true, but you'll need better springs if you want to rev. mine floats the valves at 6200.

ya but the stock springs are weak and are not intended for high revs. With a set of beehive springs you should be set.

I know you mentioned that you don't want to mess with the computer, but actually, that is where you'll find some of your biggest gains. And if a cam is in your plan, you're really gonna want to get the PCM tuned to optimize the new found flow the cam has to offer. As mentioned above, WaitForMe is and inexpensive route as far as computer tuning goes, for a little more money you can also contact PCMforLess (that's who tuned mine and I absolutely love it), and for about twice the price of PCMforLess, you can get a tune from Nelson Performance, who is the board favorite here. If you do a little searching you'll find unlimited threads praising Allen Nelson's work.

Well actually....money is not really a option. If I can see justification in the upgrade I do plan on doing it. I just dont go out and spend money on something I dont think will work. I do also live in a small town and we do not have a place where they can tune things up. I do have the superchip on my truck now, but I am also looking for more to spin those 35's. So if you guys could, help me by showing my gains, and where I can locate these places to get the work done. I guess that is my only problem. I really want to make this a bad *** ride....just a step at a time it seems.
