Due to simple economics of mass production, a stroker kit with 6.125" rods will probably be cheaper than trying to keep the stock rods and have custom 6.098" pistons made.

These stroker kits have been proven by many who use them, I'd just find a cast/hyperuetectic kit and go to town. There's no need for a forged crank or forged set of slugs at DD power levels.
