4.8 idea is cam to big??

Default 4.8 idea is cam to big??

hey my tuner jeremy formato wants to install 225/229 111 +3 .596/.602 cam
what do u guys think about this cam setup with a 3000 stall 373 and lt headers decent low end power ? need some thoughts thanks

if to big will 4.56 gears help

That's a pretty big cam for a 4.8. Should have a nasty idle if that's what you are looking for but as far as low end power goes it will suck ***.

hey does your truck have TBSS wheels on it just wondering and btw i would run no bigger then a 224 im having the same problem with my 4.8 what cam to run im thinking a 220/581 112lsa

I have run a 220 .56x 114+4 (which ran good) and I have run a 222/224 .56x 112+2 (which ran OK).... I love the cam in my sig! IMO i would go with a 220/220 .58x/.58x 110+4 if i were you....

Does your tuner know much about these motors? Thats too big of a cam for a 4.8L
