4.8 idea is cam to big??

lol the problem is hes use to working on vettes ,gtos,camaros and some trucks which he just put a cam in a 4.8 silvy which he only put in a stock 7.0 cam but i told him that i want it to lope like a hell but ofcourse not something thats gonna slow me down thats why i figured ill ask on here u guys would no soo a 220/220 581 and 112 lsa for the idle lope i want would that be my best bet ? would kind of gains would i see with headers?
and how can anyone drive a 4.8 with a 4000 stall thats a joke for a daily driver i feel a little slugish with my 3000 driver normal thanks guys

Any mods needed for them to bolt up? Thought they were a diff hub size or bolt pattern or both?

yea there a smaller bolt pattern so i tap them on a with a sledge hammer and 2x4 lol no i bought wheel adapters

IMO it is your tune... My TC is 3600+ and it is responsive! Perhaps you should switch tuners..

dont believe its the tune because theres others that have stalls that have the same problem anything under the stall speed isnt full engine power until it reaches the stall and i had a wait4me from jesse and now have the live tune from jeremyhttp ://www.fasterproms.net/contact.html and its 10 times better with my new tune.

i know this is kinda of old.

but formato (sp) is very good tuner. he tuned docs gto. just ook him up on youtube. he ran mid 10's on a cam only ls1 with a vortech, nitrous, and meth. 6 speed too and consistent. but the motor ran that way for a long time constantly at the track with no hicups.

now doc is running a forged 370 with same and is pulling intense mph. hes on ls1tech. but ive heard nothing but good about his combos and tuning.

If you want it to lope, and not be a dog run a short duration and tight lsa.
