I'll change the stroke to 4" when I get home, and see what tht changes your DCR and SCR too.

No plan to run other type of gas than 94 octane, this is what we get here. We are trying to get some different heads instead...want to keep my high compression.

You can always get a 4" stroke crank, some 6.125" rods and slugs of your choice - there are tons of 4.030 pistons out there in almost every configuration. You should have many more choices that 11.8:1 and 9.5:1.

Yeah I know...I'm just gravitating around the high compression Eagle kit. But good news, I will go with some World Products Cylinder Heads.

I will be at 10.6:1 with the 72cc. They have 235 cc intake ports!
I am also trying to get my parts from the same local retailer.

I think if you check around over on the LS1Tech side you'll find that much compression is fairly common.

With a 4" stroke on the set up you had the CR would ahve been 13.0:1. It would work in a NASCAR. With the 72cc heads you will have 11.5:1 SCR and a 8.63 DCR. Not too bad. I would think it would run pretty good.
