408 Hp

Can you be a little more specific on your motor specs??? Cam duration, heads (ported), intake, headers etc.
My N/A 408 was able to hit 613HP on the engine dyno with a base tune. I expect after some wear-in and tuning, 625-650 isn't out of the question. I really wanted to see where the power was made rather than peak numbers and to break in the motor in a WOT situation. I am happy with the results.

I think that will be a great cam for a daily driver 408. I've driven them with smaller cams than that. With that cam you should be able to make 450RWHP and have it drive nice. Just because it's a 408 doesn't mean it needs a big cam. Bigger flowing heads are more important than a bigger cam with the big cubes.
