I believe he was trying to say track hawk. Lol. I have tried to line up with one but only had the chance to whack a Ram TRX so far.

We have a stock block 408 in a '37 Plymouth that's been in there for 6 years with a 108mm turbo on M1. It's been a trooper. It's been 4.28s in the 1/8th and he isn't scared to spin it 9000 rpms.
it finally ate a comp short travel lifter a couple weeks ago so we tore it down to check everything out and new bearings and rings.
The cylinders are quite egg shaped but it's a stock block so we didn't worry about trying to get everything back true.
back in the car again to race the next night and won enough money to pay for the new lifters, bearings and rings.

got a dart LS next block to build a 400ci so we going to see if this stock block will last with 100psi on the dome.
even went as far as setting up the tune to disable traction control in the holley when the scramble button is pressed.

every engine I've torn down with a 4" crank has substantial more egg shaped cylinders than with a 400,000 mile stock engine.

Not a 408 but my 383 stroker is 6+ years with no issues. Does not burn a drop of oil and all cylinders show 210 compression.
