454LSx or supercharger?
For conversations sake and out of curiosity...
6500LB 2015 2500HD. L96 6.0L vvt
Cam longtubes and exhaust.
Prices are similar for an lsx 454 shortblock and a whipple kit.
I have a feeling a whip or a procharger would make more power slapped on the 6.0L.
But wouldnt it be cool to have a 7.6L 454LSx ?
All things equal. Motor to motor. VVT1 Cammed 6.0L vs VVT1 cammed 454LSX. What power increase etc?
What kind of gains would be expected and is it even worth doing?
Again this is for conversation sake. By no means am i gonna go out next week and buy any of this stuff lol. Wish I could afford that!

Im browsing ERL performance website. You can send them a 5.3L block and apparently they can re sleeve it with their stronger sleeves which stick out further down in the block to help with piston rocking on stroker cranks at bdc. And they can bore it out to 4.185.
5.3L to 7.0L is possible it seems. Sounds like a neat idea.
Imagine $2500 for their sleeve job and $2500 for a 427 rotating assembly and $1000 for odds and ends and shipping. 5 grand for a 427 doesn't seem too ridiculous.
