5.3 or 6.0 Heads?

So you have put 2 ms4s in 5.3ls? If so, since you have done it, what were the necessary supporting mods? I was trying to go 5.3 instead of an ls1 build into my 6er, because it would be cheaper...then i got my hands on the ms4 cam before I got a motor. So now Im trying to figure out which would be cheaper as far as what will have to be modded to get it to work. I may have just found an incredible deal on a ls camaro...in which case, it will have a nasty cam if I get my hands on it. Otherwise, Im tryin to stick to the 5.3 idea.
however...I ran a 232/236 .595 112lsa on a bone stock 5.3 with stock heads, headers, 2.5" duals, stock converter, and 3.73s and my 60' stayed EXACTLY the same as when I had a 221/221 but actually ran .3 quicker in the 1/4 over the smaller cam.
Now I'm not sayin that the tr220 isn't the most badass 5.3 cam of all time, because it is! It's been proved time and time again. But not everybody wants to be like everyone else. We like to step step outside the box and go against the grain a little bit. Now you obviously know that your setup isn't goin to be optimum. To take full advantage of that cam you'd need to do what the guy above said, more compression, nice intake and tb, big converter, and strap gears. But you never said you were looking for optimum. You're working with what you have like many of us do. You want a badass sounding car that's gonna run good. You'll have it! Have fun and good luck!
