5.3 build for 84 s10 blazer needs some ideas
Hi every one, right now im in the middle of doing a lsx 5.3 swap In my s10 blazer. the motor goin in it is stock for now just to get it cruzing this summer but I have another 5.3 that needed piston replaced. So I picked up some flat top 5.3 pistons with rods. had the block checked and the rotation asm balanced. right now im debating if should reuse my stock heads the 826 heads and have them ported and add valve springs or replaced the heads with prc stage 1 ls6 heads. and nice cam. this is what im running for the blazer.
4l60e transmission stall is still stock but planning to upgrade to 3000 stall

victor jr efi intake.
shorty headers.
my hp goals is about 400 rwhp would be nice and the truck will only see the track the odd time here and there depends how often I go out with friends.
